History: Parents are Wing leader and green rider of High Reaches Weyr. Had a normal childhood, grew up a weyrbrat along with his sister and brother. He is a paternal twin. So he and his brother look almost nothing alike. Very protective of his younger sister. To the point of fighting, he feels it's his 'right' to protect her. He blackened one riders eye for insulting his little sister while she was working on him. Though there is eight Turns between them he still thinks of her as a friend as well as a sister. Finding it easier to talk to her than others. He had a normal childhood, fighting with his brothers mostly, though never out of true anger. The boys would fight just to see who was the best one that sevenday! He was assigned to the Smiths because of his size, though he never really liked it he was good at it. He stood for his first Hatching when he was thirteen, but walked away a sad young man. He stood for many more Hatching through the Turns but didn't have any more luck than the first time until at the age of eighteen he Impressed brown Kedeith. He stayed at High Reaches in a fighting wing until he heard about Free Falling Weyr opening. He asked for a transfer and was granted it. His paternal twin brother R'ken came with him. Both settled in fine, but one day R'ken took a candidate to another Weyr to stand and that was the last time he has seen him. Kedeith sad he has not died, but he can not hear his lifemate. A'ner has become a lot more quiet since then, But with his little sister now here at FFW he is looking forward to having her with him again!
