Build: Slim, but with soft, feminine curves, dainty fingers, a slender neck and a small pixie like face with dainty features.

Hair color/style: Deep brown with red highlights, soft, loose curls. It is down to her shoulder blades and often worn in a braid or plait or out, where loose pieces curl around to frame her dainty face.

Eyes: Brown, big eyes that you could drown in.

Complexion: lightly tanned with freckles that dot her up turned nose.

Habits: Clicks her fingers when nervous or thinking, which is usually really annoying to other people.

Personality: Andrett seems quiet and shy when one first meets her. She comes across as the type to keep her eyes down and nod in agreement in the appropriate places in a conversation. When people get to know her a little better, she's a good and loyal friend, with a tendency to listen well and open up about her own thoughts and feelings.

Unfortunately, she has trouble having original thoughts of her own. She has a kind heart, but isn't really very smart. She's content to work hard and let those around her do the thinking.

Background: Adrett's mother died when she was three and she was raised by her father. They were very close, but living in an isolated cothold, there were no other children around for much of the time. There was a couple of women who looked after her while her father worked, but she spent a lot of time by herself.

She learned how to cook and by the time she was ten, she was running the cot, her father didn't like it. He sent her to foster at Cliffside Hold, with a sister of his, which had her in hysterics with homesickness for weeks! She screamed, cried and threw things until she decided people weren't listening. She gave up and became very quite and spent as much time alone as she could.

She was very lonely. She still wanted to go home, but her father wouldn't let her. He insisted she say and learn to read and write and learn the multitude of skills she couldn't learn from him. She she learned how to be a woman in a man's world that, she realized, was far, far bigger than she'd ever dreamed. She did discover that she had a knack with with young children and she apprenticed as a Harper. What she lacked in brains and innovation, she made up for in enthusiasm and a surprisingly neat scribing hand.

At 14, she managed to confuse sex with love and was happy until she discovered there was a huge difference! At that age, she was 'searched' at went to Free Falling Weyr. She stayed and worked hard while she stood for hatching after hatching. Between one hatching and another, she fell pregnant, eventually having a son, Nekar.

After Nekar was born, Andrett met Rieko and they fell in love, making grand plans to impress his and hers gold and bronze. She fell pregnant instead and R'ko impressed brown. During R'ko's weyrlinghood, their daughter Alett was born.
