He is a calm man with little use for being snotty and conniving. He hates the word arrogant, and does his best to keep his brother, Ri'lit, in line because of his brother's arrogance. B'rik likes to have a woman companion he can talk to, but he refuses to go further unless he has feelings for her and she has feelings for him. He is determined and hard working when it comes to his dragonrider duties. He has been fond of Niory since they met when they were very young. He thinks of her more as a friend than anything else. Background: Beraylik grew up at Ista Weyr as the second oldest child of drudge parents. He helped to raise his younger siblings and was anxious to have his own flit. He didn't think of becoming a dragonrider like his Aunt Kreven. He was about 10 when he received his bronze flit Chaser. The flit was killed by flame when the little one helped the older dragons fight thread. Beraylik was deeply heartbroken. He brightened when he impressed Reventh at the age of 17. The pair made it out of Weyrling Training and graduated. B'rik sired one child, a girl he named Raylly. Aellyn died after childbirth. Raylly was her first, and only child. At turning 20, B'rik and Reventh decided that they needed to leave. There were too many memories here.
