Height: 6'4" Build: D'ron is tall and lanky. He has muscles from dragonriding, but they don't show. He has a large appetite, but doesn't gain weight easily. Hair color/style: D'ron has dark blond hair with a few lighter sun streaks in it. He keeps it medium length (just below his ears) and occasionally pulls it back in a leather thong when he is working or drilling. Eyes: Deep brown eyes under thin arched eyebrows. They are almond shaped and set wide apart. Complexion: Darkly tanned. His facial features are regular, with high cheek bones, a medium nose that is slightly turned up at the tip and straight white teeth. Hobbies: Drills, drills and more drills. Personality: D'ron is a quiet but intelligent man. He is responsible, but does have a fun, spontaneous side to him. He likes to surprise people. He has a temper, but it takes a lot for him to lose it. He believes in discipline, but is a fair man. He has the "punishment fits the crime" mentality. Background: Dorion was born to a small, minor holder in the jungles on the north tip of Ista Island. His father's main staple is the harvesting of redfruit and other varieties of fruit that flourish in the tropical climate. He is a holder and trader. He trades the fruit and nuts his family harvests for the staples they need. He also dabbles in the occasional firelizard clutches that abound across the beach and trades them as well. Dorion is a master at climbing the large fruit trees (think Hawaiian coconut tree climber, lol). Dorion's family also have a small skiff that they take out to fish in. He was 12 when a search dragon was doing sweeps over their little hold and insisted to his rider that they must land. Dorion, like most young boys, dreamed of becoming a dragonrider. He gladly accepted search. He was taken to Ista Weyr and impressed bronze Trayleth. The two have an unusually strong bond. Weyrlinghood was a breeze for the young pair and they graduated with high honors from the Weyrlingmaster. D'ron was assigned to a wing and has moved up quickly within the ranks. Description: Trayleth is a very large bronze, almost as large as a gold. He has a considerable wingspan, but can turn quickly in the air. He is long and lithe like his rider. His bond with his lifemate is so strong that the two have the same thoughts a lot of the time.
