Daughter, Nerat Hold, deceased
Foster Mother's Name, rank, location: None
to speak of.

of Nerat Hold, Nerat Hold, Murdered
Foster Father's Name, rank, location:
Denalli, Lay about Gambler, Bitra Hold,
Deceased
Siblings: K'dy, Bronzerider to Nathanath,
Igen Weyr, Deceased, his twin.
Significant others: None, though his best
friend and foster brother, Z'dkiel is about
the only family he has left, and the only
family he claims...
Children: None, that he's been told about.
Height: 6'7"
Build: Tall, lean, muscular, he takes very
good care of himself, and it shows.
Hair color/style: Short, chocolate brown,
naturally curly, but he keeps it in tight
little braids, about three inches long, that
seem to have a mind of their own. He's got
just the touch of a goatee under his lower
lip.
Eyes:
A deep teal, a beautiful blue green that
always have a bit of mischief in them.
Complexion: Dark klah brown...
Anything you feel would help describe your
persona better: He carries a belt knife
sideways hidden in the back of his belt, a
boot knife in his left boot, a lock pick in
his left boot, and he wears a pair of two
inch wide leather wrist cuffs with buckles
and D rings, and a lock pick set hidden in
the left one, the cuffs are to hide the
scars left by handcuffs and shackles. He's
got a knot work band around his left bicep,
as well as a crown, nearly identical to his
friend Z'dkiel's, and only very select few
have seen it, there's a meaning behind it,
but neither talks about it.
Habits: Mouthing off. Turns as a thief have
taught him to be a bit more aware then most,
and he notices more then he should about
some things.
Hobbies:
Rock climbing, swimming, running, reading,
planning...
Personality: Some call him cocky, most just
see it as part of his sense of humor. He's
sarcastic, he's bold, his sense of humor
gets him in trouble as much as it gets him
out. He's not nearly as quiet as Z, nor as
patient. He's got his moments of shyness,
but it doesn't last long. Around people he
doesn't know he does get quiet, and he
listens close, takes it all in. He's got a
heart of gold, but it used to be his sense
of right and wrong didn't exactly correspond
with the law, but he's always had a strong
moral, and ethical code, and he stands by
that code. He'll help people if they need
it, but if the situation isn't serious he'll
probably give them a hard time, as he helps
them. It's just part of who he is. Now he
knows right from wrong, but he knows it's
still not all that black and white, so he
isn't really ashamed of his past at all...
He just knows better then to tell anyone
about it.
Background: Born one of the twin
illegitimate sons of a Lord Holder, who
raped the steward's daughter in a fit of
drunken rage, he was loathed by both
parents, his mother committed suicide,
shanking herself with her father's sword not
long after Kady and Kerrigan were weaned.
His father seized him and Kady from the
Steward, and literally sold them to a man in
Bitra who lost them in a poker game four
turns later to some one else, who turned
around and lost them to a man named Denalli,
less than a turn later.
The same exact game that gained Denalli a
boy named Zadkiel. Denalli trained them both
from that point on to steal, to cheat, to
slip in and out of places unnoticed, and how
to plan the perfect heist. Denalli was
always drunk though, and they had to take
care of themselves for the most part, or
suffer at the end of the man's belt if they
didn't bring home any mark purses at the end
of the gather, or market day...
The three became nearly inseparable. Zadkiel
always took the lead, and Kerrigan and his
twin let him, happy to have some one to
learn from. Though all three had a knack for
thieving.
Some of the heists, and some of the things
they stole and how are still talked about,
though they'll never cop to it, that was a
different life.
Being so very different in appearance people
made fun of them, but where Kerrigan was
always hesitant to throw the first punch,
Zadkiel was there provoking the other party
into it, and then he, Kady and Kerrigan
would gladly finish it, as all three were
very protective of one another, as they
really didn't have anyone else to look out
for them, aside from Denalli, and all he
cared about was the profit.
Kerrigan was on a different job, with Kady
as his back up, up in High Reaches
realm when Zadkiel got caught in Telgar, and
for those turns that he was without his
partner in crime he was more careful,
remembering everything that Zadkiel had
taught him, as they'd never expected to get
caught, though both had their share of
times, and had gotten out of it, thanks to
the lock picks they'd always had hidden on
their person... When detaining a thief
always make sure to restrain both hands and
feet, and maybe it will take them a few
seconds longer to escape...
He
kept in touch with Zadkiel the turn the man
was in the south, via his brown flit. They
met up again to steal the crown of the Lady
Holder of Igen, but that plan went array,
Kerrigan was to be at the Weyr already, he
was planning on being a crafter that came to
watch the Hatching, just another face in the
crowd to help Zadkiel if he needed it, but
as he was walking to the hatching grounds
one of the riders stopped him, and told him
to actually go out on the sands, as her blue
had found him to be acceptable for
impression. He couldn't politely refuse, and
he really didn't have a choice, so he did as
ordered, hoping he wouldn't impress in case
Zadkiel needed him, but he was shocked when
the first bronze to hatch sat there creeling
until Zadkiel went to him.
Kady on the other hand had been searched
nearly two sevendays before, and hadn't had
a chance to contact his brother, though he
didn't impress till the next hatching, three
sevendays later.
Kerrigan watched in amazement, wanting to go
help his friend Zadkiel, but he could see
the little bronze defending his new lifemate
pretty darn well against those trying to
detain the thief, so distracted by that he
missed the last dragon hatching, and when he
finally saw the Weyrleader and Weyrling
Master go to Z'dkiel's aid he turned back to
see all the eggs had hatched, but what
surprised him, was the Bronze sitting in
front of him, watching Azreath and Z'dkiel
as well. Then the bronze turned back to look
at him, and asked if he was ready to feed
him yet, or if they should go help Azreath
and his.
K'rrigan was grateful to be in such close
quarters with his foster brother, and twin
brother again, and to know they were all
safe, and they didn't have to endure the
beatings, or risk life and limb from or for
Denalli.
K'rrigan did well in his training, and he
and Z'dkiel only got into minor trouble for
the typical pranks that Weyrlings pull.
After graduation Z'dkiel got transferred to
High Reaches, and he was stuck at Igen...
K'rrigan was there the day the shakes hit,
the screams, the keening, and all the death
that surrounded him, he'll probably never
forget it, he managed to grab about four
kids from the crèche that one of the workers
handed him, and he took them to Southern,
knowing that if none of the North survived
at least the two Southern Weyrs would be
safe.
K'dy was in one of the wings that were out
on sweeps, that were diverted to Fort to
help evacuate... He and his bronze never
came back...
K'rrigan was devastated, loosing all contact
with Z'dkiel, and loosing his twin brother
in the same day... He dropped into a
dark depression, and his sarcasm became
a bit more biting...
Two turns later his wingleader was relieved
to get his transfer hides, as K'rrigan
managed to pull himself back together, and
he still doesn't let anyone close to him,
not after loosing so much. He asked
for Paradise River, and got Free Falling
instead, and he was fighting mad until he
saw the list of other survivors residing
there, and he saw the names Z'dkiel and
Bronze Azreath, since then he's been
counting down till he gets out of Southern,
though he did get word from W'rrick an old
friend from Igen, and a 'former associate',
that Z's doing just fine, and some how the
cranky, broody thief managed to land himself
a mate...
Either way K'rrigan's looking forward to
getting back into touch with the only family
he has left...
