Personality: Mr’ank is a very serious man, with little sense of humour. It’s not
difficult to make him irritated, but instead of shouting in that case he’d
rather frown at you, letting you know with the gestures of his whole body that
he’s irritated. He always tells when and why he disagrees with you and can be
very direct in it, even to his superiors. He had had some troubles for telling
something like “That’s a very stupid idea’ to his Wingleader, though he won’t
disobey a direct order. Mr’ank is a hard working man, demanding a lot of himself. He is very punctual and has strong sense of duty, except for his children. Background: Born to two lower caverns workers Mronanik was brought up mostly by his 11 Turns older sister Rialom. Both he and his 4 Turns older brother Karlon treated her more like mother, while they hardly knew their older brother who was already a Weyrling. In
his childhood Mronanik spend quite a lot of time with other weyr brats, but when
he became a teenager his lack of sense of humour became apparent and he was more
and more serious, which made him distanced to the others. The fact that Rialom
got married and left the Weyr to settle in Telgar Hold and the conflicts with
his brother made him a solitary. He was accepted as a candidate at the age of 14, but didn’t Impress until he was 17. During his candidacy he had some relationships with both girls and boys, but none of them lasted for more than a month. Alina, one of the girls became pregnant and almost forced him to live with her, but he couldn’t stand her changing of humour and never cared for the child. Even though Mr’ank loved very much his blue Torendath there was a strong difference in personalities between them and it was the young dragon who adjusted himself. Thanks to hard work the couple graduated with very good results and was appreciated by all of their Wingleaders in their later career. Mr’ank’s personal life was very similar to the one he had led before Impressing Torendath – none of his relationships lasted for long. The difference was that he really avoided women who could theoretically be pregnant with him. The real change came with Toredath winning a flight of green Palleth. As the two dragons really liked one another and the blue won her flights one after another the two riders decided to live together. There were some conflicts as F’lans was a disorganised person, but they were together until the greenrider was transferred to another Weyr. After the shakes he tried to find his sister and her family, but couldn’t obtain any news about them. Dragon Information Name: Torendath Age: 35 Color: blue – very light shade with his wings and legs a bit darker at the end, but with no sharp changes of colour Sire/Dame: Bronze Folianth/ Gold Valabanth Personality: as a Hatchling he was very clumsy, but the trainings with his rider made him really good dragon. He also used to make jokes of every possible kind, but noticing his rider didn’t appreciate it he stopped, even though he still has a joking nature in contacts with other dragons. He’s not a flirt, but when he likes a green he won’t miss her mating flight and can be really jealous. He’s not a lazy dragon either, but sometimes he would prefer to lay on the sun than have another training with his rider. The animal was very scared after all he went through, but the bluerider had enough experience with canines, as he had had one for almost 20 turns, to take care of him. Personality: he was frightened of everything and it took a long time to him to start to trust his new master, it is visible that he used to be well trained and Mr’ank tries to keep him so, but without pressing him too much.
