Complexion: His skin seems to be an extension of his hair and eyes and he has an almost permanent tan to him. Of course, that could come from growing up in the South.

Anything you feel would help describe your persona better: for his personality think of Charles Emerson Winchester III from MASH.  He is extremely insensitive to dragons, not even hearing one that will speak directly to him.

Habits: He tends to bite people’s heads off for no reason.

Personality:  He is gruff towards everyone and has a perpetually wrong side of the bed manner.  He has quite a temper and it is quick to light and slow to burn itself out. Very, very rarely will he have any sympathy for anyone, least of all his patients.

Background: He was raised as a drudge, just as his parents were, though he did learn with the Harper of High Reaches Hold. At play, he would always be the one that the children ended up coming to if they were hurt. The Harper noticed this and recommended him to the Healer Hall when he was old enough. He went off there and was quickly seen to be one of the best Healers they'd seen, but he had a terrible bedside manner. The former Masterhealer, Debarah, worked with him to ease it, but it only seemed to worsen as time went on. As an apprentice, the only thing that would distract him from his studies were the dragons just outside of the Hall. He dreamed of impressing, but never did. This soured him all the more. Eventually he walked the tables and became a Journeyman. He was sent back to High Reaches Hold to be their Healer and it seemed to work for a while, but recently he'd had increasing problems with not only his parents, but other people in the Hold.  When the shakes came he was out doing rounds of the area holds around High Reaches.  He was able to help save a number of people and stayed up for days on end to tend to them.  When things settled down he was recognized for his hard work, but was still denied the opportunity to become a Master.  He was assigned to Free Falling Weyr to compliment their current healer, Tukker.

While Tukker was out of commission by stupidly getting firehead he had his hands full taking care of everyone in the Weyr.  Tukker’s nephew, Jal’yn, was around quite a bit during his uncle’s illness and the pair have developed an over animosity.
