Habits: Pinching her siblings when they speak out of turn; she is very motherly in that sense 

Hobbies: Foraging for medicinal herbs, making medicines for later use, making up stories for

Personality: Quiet for the most part until someone upsets her. Then she’s like a vicious 

lioness that is very difficult to calm. She is motherly, has always been, and watches after

 her younger siblings now that her parents are both deceased. She is pretty much the adult

 figure in their lives. She tends to be very wary of others, being holdbred she’s very modest

 and doesn’t take kindly to idle flirting. She prefers to keep herself busy doing work, 

practicing her craft as a healer and is always ready to help out in medical emergencies. 

Background: Born and bred at Telgar Hold, Onora is the oldest of three children. Her parents 

were both healers, her father being one of several Masters who specialized in physical therapy.

 Onora tended towards her mother’s love of medicines and making the various restorative potions

 that would help stave off certain ailments. As a young child she would often look forward to 

harvest day when the healers would all go out to collect needlethorn or leafs from the redwort 

plant. Though she has made it so far as Sr. Apprentice in her craft, she looks forward to the 

day when she can walk the tables and attain mastership. Her biggest dream at the moment is to 

honor her deceased parents by continuing on in their beloved field. 

        After the shakes, Onora along with her siblings, were transferred to Free Falling Weyr 

as refuges. Living in the totally over populated Weyr, with food stores rapidly depleting, has 

worried the girl immensely and has worn thin on her hopes for a better tomorrow. She still 

holds on, though, if not for herself, but for her two younger siblings who look to her as both

a father and a mother now. It is for their sakes that she holds onto her sanity and keeps the 

family together.
