Build: Salina has always been tall and she had grown to accept that.  She has used her height to her advantage though.  She is very curvy and knows it.  She also knows that she can use the curves to get her Weyrmate away from his work when ever she wants to.  She also has a feeling that these little adventures have resulted in their children.  Salina has had a little bit of trouble losing the weight she put on with her pregnancy with Allina.  She is still working on losing that little bit of baby fat that is still present on her stomach.

Hair color/style: Salina has chestnut brown hair with golden streaks in it that hangs to her knees yet Y'rud and her children are the only ones that know its true length.  She wears it up in a bun or a braid that she wraps around her head several times. 

Eyes: Salina has light green eyes.  They are so light that it is a weird effect,  it almost looks as if her eyes are just white.  The only time they become a brighter shade of green is when she wears green clothing. 

Complexion: Salina has a pale golden tan that last year long.  It looks wonderful on her and is a result of her afternoon runs.

Anything you feel would help describe your persona better:  Salina wears a bracelet on her right wrist that was given to her at her impression by Y'rud.  She didn't know at the time how he felt about her.  She now cherishes the bracelet.

 Habits: Salina has a habit of sucking in air when she gets annoyed.  She also places her hands on hips and taps her foot gently.  This is her subtle way of letting people know that she is annoyed with them. 

Hobbies: Salina does needle work when ever she gets a chance.  She did needle work on all three of the blankets for her children when they were born. 

Personality: Salina is a patient person.  She had never expected to be Senior Weyrwoman.  She has always taken time out of her day to have fun no matter how busy she was.  Salina does not smile easily but when she does it easily goes all the way to her eyes.  She tries to go and see her children on every rest day that she has.  She loves them with all of her heart and wishes that they were closer. 

Background: Salina was the only surviving child of her parents.  Her mother had 4 miscarriages before she was born and three after she was born.  Her parents had always wanted a large family but when it looked like they would not get that they were just happy that they had one healthy beautiful daughter.  Salina’s mother doted on her yet was stern with her.  

Salina grew up like a typical child in a fisher hold.  During the winter they would sing and whittle until they were able to go onto the waters again.  Salina is not afraid to get her hands dirty and before she impressed or became Senior Weyrwoman she would help in the kitchens.  Salina knows how to clean a fish even though she doesn’t really let that out. 

Salina was 15 when she was searched.  She stood for several clutches before Kumath found her.  While Saline was a candidate she found a bronze rider whom became her best friend.  She quickly hit it off with Y’rud even though he was several turns older than her.  She found that she was able to tell him anything.  When the ban was lifted and Y’rud told her that he no longer wanted to be just friends with her but was in fact in love with her, she was all smiled.  She had had a huge crush on him since she had meet him but didn’t think it was returned so she never acted on it.  When she turned 20 she and Y’rud weyrmated.  It was a turn later that their first son, Elden was born.  A few turns later their second son Serin arrived.  The baby of the family at the moment is Allina.   

            It was a turn before Allina was born that the Senior Weyrwoman died making Salina Senior Weyrwoman.  She felt that she was not cut out for the job yet she had turned out to be a great Weyrwoman that everyone loves and respects.  Salina was very happy when Y’rud’s bronze caught Kumath in the her mating flight for the new Weyrleadership.  She had a feeling that he would win because his bronze had won every single one of Kumath’s flights. 

            Ista was not highly affected by the shakes up north.  The only thing that happened to them was that the tide seemed to be exceptionally high on that day.  It wasn’t until the dragons started mourning the loses of all of the dragons in the north.  As soon as Kumath told her that it was finally safe to go North that is exactly what she did.  They went *between* to what use to be Fort Weyr and ended up going *between* times.   It started Salina so much that she quickly fixed it and then flew straight to Free Falling Weyr and find out how bad the damage was. 

            Salina’s parents moved from their home in Southern Boll after her father retired and they now live in Ista Hold.  When Salina and Y’rud had to foster their children they didn’t even have to think twice about fostering them with her parents.  Inka and Salus love their grandchildren and are happy to finally have the large family they have always wanted.

Name: Kumath

Age: 12 turns

Color: Dark Gold.  Looks like a piece of jewelry that needs a good polishing. 

Personality: Kumath is a rather easy going Queen as long as she is not on the sands.  She will roll with the punches and go with the flow.  The only time she gets mean or nasty is when she is getting ready to rise or if she has eggs on the sands.  It takes a lot of coaxing on Salina’s part for Kumath to allow the candidates even onto the sands before hatching day to look at the eggs.  If there are eggs on the sands and Salina isn’t around, don’t even think of getting near the grounds. 

Kumath has always thought of Olanth as her bronze.  She has known him since the day she hatched and he is the only bronze she has ever chosen to mate with.  She likes the bronze and his rider a lot.
