Habits: Sheba has a tendency to bounce up and down when excited.  She also tends to try and drag others along with her on her when she goes running off.

Hobbies: Sheba spends as much of her free time as possible exploring the weyr.  From her many years growing up in the weyr she knows almost every inch of it that she was allowed in and even some place she wasn’t When she impressed Shineth she lost the majority of her free time, but she still likes to take the little blue around to the various places that a young dragon can access.

Personality: Sheba is a very bubbly person who always looks on the bright side.  Her happy and optimistic nature often cheers people up and leaves them in a good mood.  Hyper is often a great word to describe her, for she never seems to run out of energy.  When there is work to be done, Sheba always works to make sure it gets done right away so that she doesn’t have to do it later.  Chores and extra work she always completes immediately and procrastination is something she only tends to when incredibly excited about going somewhere.  While Sheba is doing work though, she doesn’t rush; she used to, but found that things would often get messed up.  Since she started slowing down and focusing on what she was doing her work always gets done properly.  If her attitude and actions start to get on peoples’ nerves she’ll usually try to leave, not wanting to annoy them.  Despite her perkiness, Sheba isn’t stupid and she always knows when it’s important that she be serious and calm.  Sheba makes friends quickly and is easy to be liked by anyone who isn’t instantly annoyed by her.

Background: Sheba was born in Paradise River Weyr and spent the first part of her life there, exploring the entire weyr from top to bottom.  By the time she was nine she knew more about the weyr than anyone could ever want to know.  It was perhaps because of this that she looked for a different way to satiate her unbridled curiosity and excitement.  After a long time of begging and showing how responsible she could be, Sheba managed to convince her parents that she could take care of a flit.  They agreed reluctantly and reminded her that she wouldn’t be able to stand for a clutch until the flit was completely reliable.  Knowing this would allow her a large amount of time to work with, she agreed, prepared to take on this new adventure.

Of course, neither she, nor her two parents, had expected her to impress two flits at the time the clutch hatched.  This left her with her biggest challenge yet; training two flits with excitable personalities to rival her own.  This was interrupted however when her parents made the huge decision to move to the newly founded Free Falling Weyr.  With her parents' dragons careful guiding, Sheba's very young flits made it through between safely and were prepared to greet this new world with excitement before they had even gotten used to the old one. 

 

With plenty of time left before she could even become a candidate, Sheba decided to spend her every waking moment discovering this new weyr and taking care of her two flits.  Finding ways of carrying them with her, even when they slept, the girl found her way about her new home and her two flits grew to know it with her.  Once she grew used to dealing with their personalities she found it easier to gain their attention and teach them to listen to her and behave.

 

When Sheba became a candidate it was hard to not be able to spend so much time with her two companions, but she felt secure knowing that her parents could take care of them.  Along with the thought of possibly impressing a dragon, Sheba felt she was not devastated by this, though she would often get her parents to send them to her during her free time.

 

At Sheba's impression of Shineth, her life became even more busy than she could ever have imagined it to be, but she loved every minute of it.  For the girl who was constantly looking for something to do and something to see; there was now something that would take her a life time to explore.  Despite Shineth's young age, Sheba bounces up and down with the thought of all they'll be able to do together once they get older and can't wait for the day she graduates and her two flits can become a more active part of her life again.

Personality: Shineth is the calm one of the group, though his natural curiosity often prevents him from seeming as such.  As a young dragonet, he is fascinated with the world around him, but in a stark contrast to Sheba and the two flits who follow her.  Where Sheba would love to run around and find new places to see, Shineth is content to sit still and observe.  He’s happy wherever he is as long as there is something nearby for him to find out about.

Name: Dopple

Personality: Dopple, the slightly larger of the two flits, shares Sheba’s personality in his vigor and excitement.  When someone know comes by, he has a tendency to greet them with great enthusiasm, before almost instantly losing interest.  Training him was difficult for Sheba due to his short attention span and inability to stay in one spot.

Personality: While slightly smaller than Dopple, Ganger is just as excitable, however his curiosity far beats the other flitters.  When Ganger finds something that interests him, it is hard to take his attention from it, no matter what else you show him.  This made training somewhat easy for Sheba as long as she could get him to focus on her and what he was doing.
