Personality: As a child, she was very happy most of the time, though she was very sensitive to the moods of others around her, especially her mother. She was an almost exact duplicate of her mother. After the family split from her adoptive father, T'san, and they went through time, she did become more of a loner, though more out of necessity. Over time she's become more and more quiet and withdrawn. Being re-introduced to people, she's more scared and afraid of the crowds. She is a bit more self-confident than her brother and tends to talk for both of them. A couple of turns has past since her return to civilization and she’s re-opened back up again. Background: She lived most of her youth with her mother in Ista Weyr. She never knew her father, just that his bronze had caught Heatherath and she'd been the result. Her mother had always showered her with love. When she was about five, her mother transferred to Southern Weyr and she came along with her, although rather than stay with her, she was fostered out. That was strange for her and she still spent a lot of time with her mother. Then her mother met T'san and she really liked him. T'san was so nice that he and her mother became weyrmates and he even treated her good. Since her mother had met T'san she hadn't gotten really sad so Surah decided that she liked him. She even called him Daddy. Her mother had a new little baby and she has a brother, although they wouldn't let her play with him much. As with many couples, they grow apart and so Neva and T'san grew apart as well. Her mother sunk into another of her depressions and this saddened Surah, but she found others to play with so she wasn't sad like her. She did worry for her mother and was surprised when she suggested that the five of them, Neva, Talinev, Sully (Neva's flit), Heatherath and she all go on a picnic on the beach. They betweened there but there was a problem and they ended up going back in time by accident. They came to a time when there was already a Neva and Surah. In her disorientation, Neva sent them between again, this time they emerged fifty turns before her mother was even born! They were very tired from the ordeal and when they awoke, her mother decided that they'd stay there. They lived happily, though not without a few scrapes. Recently, Heatherath decided that Surah would be a good candidate for an egg. She also seemed to think that her brother, Talinev, would be too. Rather than deprive her children of their future, Neva piled all that was theirs onto her green and the family returned to Southern Weyr, just as the eggs were hatching. After being rushed onto the sands, she and Talinev stood there waiting. It came down to the final two eggs on the sands, but they both impressed, he a brown and she a green. Life was good at Southern Weyr, but it was strange being among people again. Over time she became used to it, but then the quakes came. Of the dragonrider pairs that survived up north many of the older ones were sent South to help their older bones. Due to tremendous overcrowding at Southern Weyr she volunteered to transfer north, hoping to find family. Originally she was to be transferred to Ista Weyr, but at the last moment she was sent to Free Falling Weyr. It will be tougher to find family, but she still has hopes to do so.
