T'ren is tall, bulky & muscular, however, don't be fooled by his size. He
has a considerable amount of grace and agility and can move very fast when he
needs to. Hair
color/style: His hair is a blend of colors ranging from medium brown to white
blond. He keeps it just below his neckline in a small ponytail. It is baby fine
and he has to keep it tied back to control the fly-aways. Eyes:
His eyes are so dark brown as to look almost black. They have a very slight
almond shape to them from a smattering of Bitran in his ancestral background. Complexion:

Because of T'ren's obsessive/compulsive nature, he has the habit of picking

T'ren is a steady man and has all the patience on Pern. He doesn't anger easily
and forgives quickly. He has a heart of gold. He'd give the tunic off his back
if he thought it would be of help. He is a hard worker and very responsible. Background:
Toren was born from a mating flight and immediately fostered away, however, the
only milk mother that could be found was the Lady of Tellik Hold. She had just
had a baby girl two sevendays before. Toren was well taken care of, if not
actually loved. He lacked for nothing except the attention of his foster
parents. His birth parents visited for the first few months of his life, but
each visit became further and further apart until they stopped coming all
together when Toren turned five turns. By this time, it had been discovered that
Toren's milk sister, Maligrea, was not normal. The little girl could not learn
anything properly. Face puffy, tongue thick and slanted eyes, she didn't even
resemble either of her parents. (OOC-on Earth, she would have Down's Syndrome).
But Maligrea adored her milk brother and because of that, was foisted off on him
from an early age. The family was large and the Lord and Lady were just as happy
to let Toren take care of little girl that was an embarrassment to the blood line. It was Maligrea that
taught Toren the meaning of patience. He took her every where he went, never
minding having to clean up after her and show her how to do things a million
times. When Toren turned 15, he was searched by a blue dragon from Telgar Weyr
(not his father's dragon), but he was reluctant to go because of Maligrea. But
Maligrea knew how much Toren dreamed of dragons and told him, in her simple way,
that he should be a dragonrider. Tearfully and with some fear for her, Toren
went and impressed Fornath on his first stand. Weyrlinghood was fun and easy for
him as he was no stranger to hard work. He even helped with the other weyrlings.
The very day he graduated, he flew Fornath to Tellik Hold to meet Maligrea.
However, sadly, with no one there
who cared, to watch her, Maligrea
had gotten hurt and while in the infirmary, she had gotten into the fellis and
overdosed on it. No one thought Maligrea was worth telling T'ren about her
death. T'ren was devastated. He returned to the Weyr much changed by
the tragedy. He became quiet and reflective and even more responsible. It was
after the death of Maligrea that T'ren's obsessive behavior manifested. As he
matured, the Weyrleaders began to think that the best place for him would be
Weyrlingmaster or Candidatemaster. As D'ton was promoted to Weyrlingmaster, they
offered the position of Candidatemaster to T'ren which he readily accepted. It
gave him the opportunity to "nurture" young ones the way he had
nurtured Maligrea. Dragon

A deep bronze with lighter bronze across his back. Fornath is large for a bronze
with a heavy frame, however, he is quick and agile during thread and mating
flights. He has no imperfections in his hide and is the epitome of shining
health thanks to his rider's obsessiveness. Sire/Dame:

As steady and patient as his rider, Fornath takes great pride in his lifemate's
occupation and does anything to help. He is not obsessive like his rider,
however, he could be considered "spoiled". He is very used to having
his own way, both with rider and other dragons. He is extremely competitive in
mating flights and has been known to inflict injuries on other male dragons from
time to time, though never anything to permanently damage. Wing:
