Style of dress: She usually wear clothes her mother has bought for her, so fine, well made and usually tight fitting and revealing.

Habits: Surprisingly, she has the most angelic, lovely soprano, but wouldn't dream of singing for _anyone_, but she does sing and hum under her breath when she's alone or thinks she is.

Personality: Takara is a confused, troubled, angry young woman with a few different aspects to her personality. On the surface, she can be as sweet as pie, especially while she is being manipulative. Scratch the surface a little, and you'll find a very violent temper which she both inherited and
copied from her mother. Unlike her mother, she can hold hers in check and let it loose at the right person or object at the right time. For example, it someone upsets her enough, she can wait until their weyr is unoccupied before going into it and breaking any delicate items she finds into several dozen tiny pieces.
She bears an irrational hatred for most men, having seen her mother and grandmother being used and abused by them. She also hates her mother and grandmother for using and abusing her (not in a sexual way!) and letting men treat them the way they do. She's very confused about the roles of men and women, having seen one thing and being told another. (see background) However, if anyone was to allowed into the deepest parts of her personality (if they wanted to bother), they'd find a scared, confused kid who desperately needs to be loved by someone sane who knows what real love is and how to give it without making demands or contradictions.

Background: Takara was the result of a mating flight, though her mother claimed to love her father dearly, but as her feeling weren't reciprocated, her love soured to a deep, bitter hatred for T'beit, which she turned on his daughter, telling him she was worthless, because her father was a lying, cheating piece of ****.
Takara's foster mother, Mevani (who was Malaka's mother) was as bad, filling the young girl's head with tales, each wilder and less true than the last. They all held the same theme though, he'd been a cheat, while Takara's mother was the pure one who'd been wronged. What Takara observed was a
mother and grandmother who bedded any man they could find, which was totally at odds with what they were telling her. Confused, she's decided that bedding men is what women must be for, since she saw so much, so young. As a young child, she had the sympathy of the Weyr, but no one seemed to be
acting to remove her from the situation. Harper classes were a welcome break from her mother and grandmother, but became difficult as the Weyr's harpers couldn't control her or her temper. What they failed to recognize, was a very smart, bored girl who quickly absorbed her lessons and needed more,
faster than they were given. So she got frustrated and usually turned to annoying the child next to her. Then eventually, that child would cry, the harpers would tell Takara off, resulting in first a screaming match, then in Takara throwing something, often a chair, at the harpers. Then they'd try physical punishment, which she'd respond to by hitting back, so they'd call her mother or grandmother, who'd drag her off and hit her or lock her in a room until she calmed down and apologized to all concerned (under duress of course). Then the cycle would begin again.
Of course, no craft wanted her and she flatly refused to try and impress, knowing (though only deep down), that her temper would kill her and any dragon she impressed before their first turn was over. Drudgery, being boring, had the same effect as harper classes, making everyone at wits end as to what to do with the girl. Finally, her mother got tired of punishing
her and decided it was the girl's father's turn to try and look after her.
Without a word to T'beit, Malaka packed Takara's things and dropped her at Free Falling Weyr to find her way to him, or run off, Malaka didn't care which anymore.
